Founder

Inspired by the coffee culture of the American West Coast and vibrant cities Such as London, Tokyo and Milan, RUUD Coffee was founded in 2025 by Francis Cosgrave.

Following his passion for coffee and dream of creating his own brand of premium coffee he launched Concrete Coffee in the UK in 2024 with two shops, after a very strong first year and with a resoundingly positive response to his bespoke coffee blends, outstanding hospitality and customer service making lot of happy customers and regulars.

Francis is forging forward with the vision of an innovative, urban coffee brand, decided to rebrand to RUUD Coffee.

César is our chief roaster. Coffee is a passion for this native Colombian. He has known the diverse world of coffee since his childhood. I have over 25 years in the entertainment, events and hospitality industry. I have been a coffee lover most of my adult life, however when I gave up drinking alcohol many years ago, coffee became an even bigger part of my life.
As a DJ and music producer travelling the world, I have been lucky enough to experience the coffee culture in so many different locations.
I love the community aspect that coffee creates. I have tasted coffee from all over the world, many beans, blends and roasts and when the world & decided I wanted to take this passion further.
